Private After-Hours Pool Parties
We will begin booking private parties in May and will update information at that time.
Private parties are available from 6:30pm - 8:30pm Tue-Sun.
Pool SAFETY & COURTESY Rules
- Outside food and drink is allowed.
- NO glass or cans. Glass shatters and cuts bare feet. Pull top tabs from cans cut feet and also end up in our skimmers. Flattened cans in grass cut bare feet. Cans left in grass may be missed and mowed over, spraying the area with metal shards. Again, bare feet.
- No alcohol. No exceptions.
- We reserve the right to check all coolers for compliance with rules.
- Small doughnut floats allowed, but no oversize or lounge floats. 3 feet max diameter. Baby and toddler floats are allowed. Floats can obstruct lifeguards' view and present a safety hazard, so float usage may be limited at the discretion of pool managers or lifeguards on busy days.
- Follow all instructions from lifeguards, pool employees, or Karns Lions Club members.
- Only 1 person on each diving board at a time.
- Only one bounce on board.
- You may jump or dive off the board only after previous person has reached the edge of the pool.
- Adults may not catch children from diving board.
- Exit the deep end after your turn on the board. No hanging out in the deep end. No sitting on the edges of deep end.
- No swimmies (water wings) on diving board or slides. You may use life jacket with a crotch safety strap to prevent pulling over head. Puddle jumpers that buckle across chest OK on slide only (not diving board).
- No hanging on divider ropes.
- No running or horseplay.
- No loud music.
- Ensure the gate to the splash pad area is closed after entry or exit.
- Swimwear must be appropriate for a family pool.
- No smoking/vaping inside the pool area. There is a designated smoking spot in front of the building.
- The pool will be evacuated if thunder or lightning are detected nearby and will remain closed for 30 minutes after the last detection. Did you know electrical charges can linger in clouds for 30 minutes? Lightening can also travel up to 25 miles. It isn't safe to remain in open spaces. It's safest to shelter indoors or in a vehicle. The playground is also not safe when lightening is nearby.
- Do not urinate or defecate in the pool. Swim diapers are required for those who need them and are available for purchase at the concession stand.
- Only ADA service animals are permitted within the pool area. No emotional support animals.
- Picnic tables are to be shared and can't be claimed for birthday parties.
- For birthday parties during regular hours, feel free to set up a blanket or your own 10x10 max canopy in a grassy area. A 10x20 canopy, including 2 tables, can be reserved for a fee of $50.
