The Karns Lions Club is proud to present our All Inclusive Handicap Playground for ages 2-12 . It is open from dawn to dusk.

The playground provides social interaction, development of understanding, acceptance, and the building of common ground between children of all abilities.

Children just want to be accepted, and the playground brings all children together in a safe and equal environment. It is the only All Inclusive Playground for Karns, Powell, Ball Camp, Cedar Bluff, Solway, Hardin Valley, and Halls Communities.

Located in the Karns Lions Club Community Park at 6618 Beaver Ridge Rd, Knoxville, TN.

Amenities

Four covered picnic tables are available for families to rest in the shade. Please share the tables with others.

Restrooms with diapering facilities are available on site.

During winter, water is shut off in the playground to avoid frozen pipes. Restrooms will be locked and portable toilets made available instead.

Safety and Rules

Play structures are designed for ages 2-12. Children must be supervised by an adult.
Do not wear cleats inside the playground or on the turf.
No pets allowed.
No sidewalk chalk.
No skateboards or scooters.
No throwing rocks or digging at cement around the perimeter fence.
NO BIRTHDAY PARTIES allowed in the covered area. We want everyone to have access to tables and don't want the area trashed for others by party food and supplies. You will be asked to leave or instead rent the pavilion if it is not occupied.
Parties can rent the nearby pavilion and use the playground.
Don't use wet playground equipment during or after rain.
Do not use playground when thunder or lightening is detected in the area, even if it's not raining. Lightening can travel more than 10 miles from a storm and pose a hazard. If you can hear thunder, playground will be closed for 30 minutes. It is safest to wait inside a building with 4 walls or in your car.
